New books are on their way...

I HAVEN’T BLOGGED IN FIVE MONTHS

I’m the worst, aren’t I?

To make up for it, I will give you a clue about my next release.

Four romances, each following a different couple, set in the same town.

Keep an eye out for a brand new Mindy Michele series coming later this year! We’ll have more information pretty soon. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram, so you never miss a thing.

If you’re wondering what solo title I’ll be releasing next, don’t worry. I should have something on my newest work in progress by the end of this month. I’ve been focused on this new Mindy Michele stuff because Mindy is moving across the country this month. Our goal was to get a new series ready for y’all so she can move and chill, and I can work on my own. Stay tuned!

Tuesday Teaser: Until We Crash, a From the Wreckage novel

(Jess and Carter, a From the Wreckage novel)

“Let go.” My words brush against the shell of her ear, and her breathe snags in her throat.
“I can’t.” She raises her head from the crook of my neck and meets my gaze. Shadows darken her eyes. “I don’t know how.”
I grin at the temptress sprawling across my chest. “Sure, you do. You just give in to it.” My hips roll, and she moves with me, the sensation rolling my eyes to the back of my head.
“Then crash and burn? I can’t do that.” Curling her fingers into my hair, she tugs my attention back. “No one picks me up, Carter. No one saves me.”
She said it earlier—she’s worried what’ll happen when this is over. My questions mount. This is supposed to be sex. Simple. What is she asking of me? What would I offer?
Reading my confusion, she sighs. “I can’t lose myself,” she says against my lips.
Swallowing her confession, my fingertips graze her spine. “You can with me.” My nose nudges hers. “I’m here. I’ll be here.”

Since COVID-19 hit the world I have struggled to stay on task. One day I want to write murder thrillers, and the next I want to write dirty. Monday I’m focused. Tuesday I stare at the wall for hours.
I’m currently back to working on Jess and Carter—you first met him in From the Wreckage and her in Out of Ruins—because when all else fails, the From the Wreckage characters are HOME to me. I truly hope I’m back on track because I have big plans for our friends in Texas. I’ve seen the messages, I know you want to see Jules and West again. And I know you want grown-up Jules and West ;) I want to give them to you, so stay tuned!

Thank you for SEVEN years!

Seven years ago I began this author journey with the release of a little story about a girl who was the key to a prophecy, and the boy who watched over her life. I had no clue what I was doing other than writing what was in my heart. So much has changed in the seven years since Tyalbrook became a thing but my love for telling the stories of my heart remains the same. Thank you for reading them.

And thank you for coming into my life. I have met some of my very best friends in the book world. I’ve had the opportunity to learn things I never would have, to meet creatives I respect immensely, to travel, to laugh and cry and dance and sing.

A world of opportunity truly is opened when you live within the pages, whether you are a writer or reader, life is better with books.
