A little 'Last Call' update...
/
I can be impatient. I think you need to know that about me.
For instance, when I'm cleaning my house and get a hankering to move things (aka furniture) around I have been known to push a large computer hutch up the stairs by myself.
I've moved couches, china hutches, dining room tables...you name it, I will move it.
Why? Because I'm impatient.
Sooooo, when I was working on the blurb for 'Last Call' I ended up putting something out
before I had time to think it over.
See, the storyline has a twist. A suspenseful twist, I wasn't sure if I wanted to spoil or keep secret. During my indecisive period I needed to put some stuff together for Indie Book Fest so I threw it out there all willy nilly like.
My bad! I've decided to adjust it now to reflect the storyline better.
Here you go...the new and improved blurb:
“You are cordially invited…” Four words that spark the fear of God into any gently bred, single, southern woman.
When Savannah Guthry receives an invitation to her cousin’s wedding back home in Charleston, South Carolina, her first thoughts aren’t of flowers and dresses. Instead, she's reminded of the groom: her first love and the reason she ended up at a college 500 miles away from home.
Determined to show up and dazzle not only her ex but her spoiled cousin too, Savannah allows her friends to set her up on a series of dates looking for Mr. Right.
Struggling to reconcile the hurts of her past with her new romances, Savannah misses a dangerous threat to her life...
She might not land her Prince Charming before her Last Call.

AND now I will share a tease ;)
Candace came around me and thrust her hand into Gage's for forced introductions. "You must be the fabulous bartender from down under," she interjected playfully.
"It's nice to meet you, Candace. I've heard a lot about you."
"All lies, I'm sure," she snickered.
"I hope not," he played along, but I could tell that his smile wasn't as brilliant as usual. "I need to steal Savannah for a moment though, if you don't mind. Tell the guys at the bar that I said drinks are on me."
"Drinks are on you? You can have her all night, sweetie."
"That's Sara," I informed him when she suddenly appeared and looped her arm through Candace's.
