Evil poisons everyone. Period. Our mouths water when we sink our teeth into what we have always craved. Surrendering to our desires by biting off delectable piece of the forbidden fruit is nothing more than a meager confession: Poison tastes sinfully sweet,”—Confessions of the Big Apple Debutante, by blogger Miss Snow White.

Reading and Things: 12 Days of Christmas Facebook Event

I'm taking part in Reading and Things 12 Days of Christmas over on Facebook tonight at 8EST! You can stop by HERE and check out all the fun over the next week! There are a tons of bloggers and authors being spotlighted each night for fun, games and giveaways!

Part of this fun is a daily question...my question was:

If you could reinvent a famous christmas character (Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman, Jack Frost, Santa Claus, etc.) and write you own version of their story (like a fairytale retelling), which one would you choose? Why?

What a question! We've been watching all the old school shows this month and I have to say they are have pretty good plots:  sad beginnings, teased, outcasts etc...

Apparently someone already thought about this question :O ...Rudolph finds Crossfit??

So I was thinking I'd love to give the Sugar Plum Fairy from The Nutcracker a story. One of the most famous ballet pieces ever, the Sugar Plum Fairy is the ruler of The Land of Sweets. Wouldn't it be fun to know this beautiful Queens background? Maybe the Nutcracker/Prince was her childhood best friend? Ex-lover? Maybe, like Clara, she lived on Earth once only to somehow be transported to the Land of Sweets as a child! Could she have been the object of the Mouse Kings affections once?

Ohhhh the possibilities!
