*NEW LOOK* The Prophecy of Tyalbrook

Over the past few months I've been busy behind the scenes. I've taken my debut novel,  Never Let You Fall and book two in the series Never Let You Go and worked with my editor Samantha on cleaning them up. The story is the same, but better!
I also worked with the fabulous Regina Wamba of Mae I Design to repackage them with gorgeous new covers. Check them out...

Never Let You Fall

Their journey began with a promise…

"I won’t let you fall. You will not die for me. I can’t live with that, Xander, and I would rather let them take me before I let them kill you.” He opened his mouth to argue, but I held up my hand.        “Don’t argue it. There’s no point. I’ve made up my mind.”
He shook his head, but didn’t argue. Instead, he promised as he always did, “If anything happens to you… if we get separated, if you martyr yourself… anything, Skye. As long as I am breathing, I will always find you. Always.”
Those were precisely the words I’d counted on him saying.

AN ORPHAN with no memory of her past and no hope for her future.
A GUARDIAN determined to keep her safe.
A DESTINY neither of them expected.

Never Let You Go

Two souls desperate to discover the truth about the past and determined to save their future…

SKYE
The usual warmth I felt deep in my soul when Xander was near me was beginning to dull. Yet I still remembered the warning: “Be careful, my Princess…you will lose all you love before you can win what you want.”

XANDER
I could feel it; she hadn’t been here. Two days of hell, riding as fast as we could and only taking small breaks, and yet she had outrun us. How?

A PRINCESS set on regaining her Kingdom and protecting those she loves…
A GUARDIAN who will stop at nothing to find the woman who stole his heart…
An EVIL FORCE who will destroy everything they know in order to have power over all…

The journey continues in Never Let You Go, book two in The Prophecy of Tyalbrook Series.

I hope you love these as much as I do. I think they portray my characters perfectly while fitting in with today's fantasy covers you would see in the bookstores.

I look forward to finishing off the series soon and revealing one last cover... until then KEEP READING!

Cover Redo!! - Never Let You Go

So, this little pretty is my current cover to Never Let You Go! I LURVE me some Xander and Skye together BUT when I finished the cover for book three, I realized that both one and three had one person (Skye) and two had two. The continuity seemed off. They just don't match up well.

After thinking about the story I decided to give Xander a little cover love. Book two is kind of a big deal for him, he has this whole quest he's on and some big things happen. Why not show him the love, right??

Soooo

Here you go....my lovely Xander played by the gorgeous Grant Mroz
I should state that this cover pic is a scene straight from the book. It's one of my favorite scenes in the book.

And the full cover!

I'm updating all the sites now AND will have this cover at all book signings this year.
I hope you like him as much as I do ;)

Surprise Tease ~ Never Let You Go

Surprise Tease!

I felt compelled to throw a tease up tonight..maybe it's all this cold weather that made me feel like pulling this up ;)

Never Let You Go, Prophecy of Tyalbrook Series, Book Two
RELEASE DAY - JANUARY 30, 2014!!

This scene is from Nickoli's POV

I stood along the wall walk and watched Skye standing out in the snow, her pale blue dress and wrap spread out behind her the train splotchy from water marks. I left her be for a long time, until my own body was starting to freeze from remaining stagnant in the cold temperature, before I finally decided to venture out after her.
She stood, her shoulder resting against a thick tree, staring deep into the forest to her left. Her tiny hands were fingering the dagger Xander had given to her, her mouth turned under. I could tell she seemed far away. So far away in fact, she didn’t notice my arrival until I was upon her.
Her head jerked my way at the crack of a hidden branch beneath my boot. She promptly stood straight when she spotted me, a warm, albeit small, smile crossing her features. Her head tilted away from me but not before I saw the mournful glaze.
She tried to hide her dagger into the folds of her long velvet cloak so I pretended not to notice it. Instead I bent to pick up a handful of snow, shaping it into a small ball, to give Skye time to get her emotions in check.
“Am I needed inside?” She asked. Her voice cheerless. She sounded so hopeless, it was like a knife to my own heart. I knew she was in pain and yet, I was clueless on how to help her.
“No,” I answered, tossing the compact snowball up and catching it. “I thought you could use some company,” I prevaricated.
We stood ten feet apart, her face averted from mine, the snowball in my hand slowly melting as I waited for her to speak again.
When I finally gave up hope that she was going to speak again she surprised me. “It’s beautiful out here.”
“Yes, it is.” I agreed, staring at her instead of our surroundings.
Her large eyes peeked out from the hair waving in front of her face. They focused on my face and then flitted to the melting ball of snow I held in my now frozen fingers.
A meager grin spanned her face as she turned my way, at last. “Your snowball is melting.” She observed. Slowly, she bent down and plucked a pile of snow from the ground with one hand. The other deftly maneuvered her dagger into the sheath she wore in her braided belt.
“You know, you should never let your snowball melt,” she said.
Confused, I asked why.
“Because obviously a man is only as good as his weapon,” she replied, her smile widening to a devilish grin.
Captivated by the grin and the jaunty twinkle in her eyes, the meaning of her words were lost on me until it was too late.
Smack
The cold, wet, icy ball she had formed hit my neck and chin and a peal of laughter rang out through the trees as Skye yelped and dodged behind a tree.

Book One, Never Let You Fall is only $0.99 on Amazon & B&N

Never Let You Go *Tease*

It's a Thursday tease. I wasn't on my 'A' game Tuesday and forgot to share a tease with you ...
So sorry!

So here you go. A little Never Let You Go from Skye's POV

Now as I stood outside the cottage, my head and heart were both torn with fear. The usual warmth I felt deep in my soul when Xander was near had already begun to dull. Thoughts of turning back teased me, and my hand dropped from the doorknob as I allowed the fear to seep in.
The fear was like a stubborn weed growing within my heart; its long tentacles wrapping around veins and arteries until the anxiety had begun to choke the bravery out of me. Doubt laughed at me like a devil on my shoulder; hissing at me that no matter what I did, I would never be able to save everyone I loved.
